Care-label priority

Start with the instructions printed on, sewn into, attached to, or supplied with your specific garment. Product-specific instructions take priority over broad, general guidance.

Care information can come from several places. The most specific instruction available for the individual garment should be followed before broader guidance.

Primary rule

Instructions printed on, sewn into, attached to, or supplied with the physical garment are the primary source for caring for that garment.

    General Care Guidance

    Broad guidance should only be used when it has been approved for an identified product category. It does not replace instructions supplied with a specific garment.
